To date, 1,786 workers have completed the Construction Manager’s jobsite safety orientation.

Crews have logged 416,307 hours on site through December 2011 with no lost-time accidents. This is a major milestone for the Project team. Weekly site safety inspection evaluations assessing worker safety compliance are averaging 98%.The U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Messer Construction Co., the City of Cincinnati, and Hamilton County have developed a Health & Safety Partnership Agreement Plan.  The Partnership’s common goal is to ensure a safe and healthy environment for individuals working on The Banks project through increased training, implementation of best work practices, enhanced safety and health programs, and compliance with applicable OSHA standards and regulations. OSHA has endorsed Messer Construction Co.’s nationally recognized “Safety4Site” commitment to safety training and accountability on The Banks construction project site.
